Four Ashes is Glamping.

We have had our planning permission accepted for an adults luxury clamping site hidden in a woodland with ponds with views over the surrounding countryside.

Stay in luxury pods with hot tubs, widely spaced in the wooded natural site to protect the native wildlife.

Whether enjoying the peace and quiet, walking in the countryside, or visiting the local area, Four Ashes Glamping will provide a peaceful, private and a wonderful place for a complete break.

The glamping site is being grown now from the countryside, come back for updates and to book when we are ready.

Four Ashes Glamping Site

As can be seen on the site plan, there are only four timber glamping pods set in the gently sloping woodland away from the car park (top) for peace and quiet. The glamping pods are accessed along a path through the trees with low level lighting to minimise the effect on local wildlife at night.

We will have two types of pod as shown below, both with polar insulation design and low energy LED lighting in keeping with the natural setting.

The two pods by the pond will have decks that over look the ponds, the other two pod decks will have a country view looking out over the neighbouring fields.

Along with the pods, Four Ashes Glamping will have a gym and honesty shop with locally sourced produce and those essentials we all need.

There will be an EV charging space in the parking area.

Four Ashes Estate

The glamping site is in the grounds of an old Georgian Barn of which the threshing floor is the only remaining part. The barn itself is situated in the grounds of Four Ashes Hall which has been in the same family since the 1650s.

Four Ashes Hall was built in 1660, the Georgian Stable Block was build in the 1750s, a Bath House with a cold plunge pool in 1770s on the edge of the Bath Pools, and a walled kitchen garden was established in the 1860s.

Currently we are undergoing several restoration projects including the stable block, garden buildings and gardens.

Location

Four Ashes Glamping is located near Bridgnorth in Shropshire, close to the Staffordshire Way (Four Ashes Estate spans the county border).

Dating back to 895, Bridgnorth is set on a sandstone cliff overlooking the River Severn which divides the town into two, High Town and Low Town. In addition to the delights of the town, the steepest inland cliff railway climbs from Low Town by the River Severn to High Town (www.bridgnorthcliffrailway.co.uk). Bridgnorth is also one terminus of the Severn Valley Railway (svr.co.uk) which holds many galas and events throughout the year as well as their regular train services.
